Bourgie lamp

The Bourgie lamp, designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell, is one of my favourite lamps. I love the juxtaposition of the baroque shape with the modern edge of the polycarbonate plastic. So for those who share my love of this lamp, enjoy some Bourgie porn.

this is my favorite, as well, for the same reason you mentioned. was always a little too expensive for me but about a year ago, i found an excellent 'interpretation' for around fifty dollars. does the trick. nice post.
$50? Good score, even if it is an "interpretation". If a store here ever sells this lamp, I may break down and buy one.
ohmigosh - that lamp with that ghost chair is too much for me to bear. If I ever see a knock off on the chair, it's mine. Great post.
One of my fav stores here sold the Ghost chair at one point and I stood in the store and stared at it for about 10 mins. I think it was $500(cdn)....for about 9.5 of those 10 mins I thought the $500 was worth it.
Hi, just discovered your blog -- great content! That bourgie lamp is a total beaut, love all your pictures of it in different environments.
Well, this is almost two years later and I only "discovered" this lamp last year. It's out of my price range at the moment but it is most definitely on my wish list! Thanks for all of the beautiful photos... makes me want it even more!
